C.P.R.
Well, it has been quite a while since I last posted a blog.
And for some reason (Holy Spirit🔥😉) it just seemed like the right time to starting blogging once more.
Recently, my wife and I spent a few weeks in quarentine after testing positive for Covid.
The interesting factor was that my wife had mild symptoms throughout...PRAISE THE LORD... while I on the other hand...went through some difficulties specifically due to some underlying conditions.
Now what I want to tell you, is that while it was definitely difficult and scary at times, I am thankful that I did not go through it alone. Yes, my wife was here and able to care for me in a wonderful way...in fact, she is the best nurse I have ever had! 😊💗 But I rediscovered what it truly means when it says in the Bible that God IS with us and will NEVER leave us or forsake us.
Enough about me and Covid...I want to take about something amazing that God did while i was facing my infirmity. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO BREATH AGAIN!🔥
Interestingly enough that is the main "GIANT" of this sickness...being able to breath. It seems so insignificant in our everyday busy lives, until you can't do it.
One night as I was struggling to find a breath, I remember that I began to feel some anxiety and even some fear. In that moment, I simply cried out to the Lord, "What must I do Lord?" And He answered in a gentle but firm way, "Son, you have forgotten how to breath. Let me show you how to breath again."
He told me to go in His word and read a story about some people (Jesus' disciples) who had lost their way after Jesus was crucified and were literally struggling to breath because their fear and grief was so deep.
Here is the story as found in John 20:19-22, "On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, now I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit."✝
The disciples were like a person that you find unconcious and not breathing. What do you do for them? Well, they need oxygen immediately. So, you call for help and administer C.P.R. And that is exactly what Jesus did for them. He came to their rescue and gave them C.P.R.🚑
First, he said, "Peace be with you!" This was so important because these were the men that left him before and at the cross. Yet the very first thing that Jesus does is CONFIRM their relationship with him. They haven't grasped just yet what he had done for them at the Cross and what He was about to do for them now...RESURRECT THEM as He had been RESURRECTED!💗
Second, he said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent, now I am sending you." Jesus PROCLAIMS to them that their calling is still intact. They have not ruined their destiny. They still have a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). They will finally become FISHER OF MEN!🐟🐟🐟
Finally, he completed the process by breathing on them and saying, "Receive the Holy Spirit. He breathed out from himself and into them the breath of life and the Holy Spirt was RESTORED to them. 🔥
1. CONFIRMATION 2. PROCLAIMATION 3. RESTORATION = C.P.R.
I close this blog today with this promise of what Jesus wants to do for all of us.
You see, you don't need to get Covid to recognize that your breathing might be being affected by the pace and things of this world. I discovered that I was holding my breath more than I was actually breathing out. Breathing in is important but it is not the complete process. You need to breath out as well. What God has placed inside of me must not just be RECEIVED, it needs to be RELEASED too.😄
John 10:10 says, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."✝
Jesus wants to raise us up. He wants to bring us back. He wants to see you and I breath again the way that God designed us to breath...for His glory, His honor, and His pleasure.👑
So as we enter together into this New Year together, will you take a moment to consider receiving the Breath of Life that Jesus wants to release back into you, after all their is no life if there is no breath.💗
Wishing you a beautiful, blessed, powerful, and wonderful 2022 with our mighty Lord and Savior...Yeshua (Jesus)!👑✝🔥
Blessings,🤗🤗
