Chicken Broth In My Kibble

I love Friday mornings! Sure it defines the end of another work week for many of us but my joy and love for Fridays comes because of a special treat I place in our dogs bowls to make their Kibble taste extra special on Fridays!

It's Chicken Broth. Not much, just enough for them to get a generous taste and YES to all you dog lovers out there...it is the low in sodium broth but still huge in flavor...LOL.

This morning as the dogs were jumping up and down and pushing on me as I went to the refrigerator, our oldest dog Nikki, she is 15 years old, began to lick my leg and hand...I love it when she does that because I feel like she is showing appreciation for me not only meeting her needs but her wants too!

And isn't that just like God too! I love how the psalmist describes it to us in Psalm 23:

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Nothing tastes better in this world than the goodness of God! But not only is He good but He is GREAT! You will never lack anything when He is your Shepherd but the key is to come towards Him when He calls.

Thank the Lord this morning with me that He is faithful to meet our needs and that He loves us so much that there is "chicken broth" mixed in with our portion today.

Praise God our cups are running over with His special touch on our blessings!
